Using the app
Last Chance Japanese is a Japanese-learning app. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the curriculum, audio, or software, or attempt to interfere with the service.
Your progress and account
You can use the app without an account. Saving your progress with Apple links your learning data to that sign-in so it can be restored on another device.
You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in provider. If you lose it, we may not be able to restore your progress.
Content
The curriculum, explanations, audio, and design are ours or licensed to us. We work hard to make them accurate, but they are a learning aid, not a guarantee of any exam result.
You may report a mistake from within any exercise. Reports may be used to improve the content.
Availability
The app works offline; sync requires an internet connection. We may change, pause, or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of anything that affects your saved progress.
Purchases
The app is currently free. If paid features are introduced, their price and terms will be shown before you buy, and purchases will be handled by Apple or Google under their terms.
Liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.
Ending use
You can stop using the app and delete your data at any time from Settings. We may suspend access if these terms are seriously breached.
